A Whirlwind Trip
Ah, that awful dilemma. You’re jetting in and out of a city and don’t know where to begin to try and experience as much as possible during such a short stay. Never fear, the Hotel Jen team is here!
I’ve got the scoop on how to have you feeling like a local in a flash. So first up, a journey down memory lane – head down the Heritage Trail to enjoy the sights and sounds of Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam. To put yourself in the heart of the shopping action, just walk down Orchard Road. Popping by for an evening? The Clarke and Boat Quay areas have an impressive dose of nightlife.
The city can even be seen by boat! Just take a cruise down Singapore River and spot historical landmarks or marvel at the skyline. Working up an appetite yet? For the stuff Singapore is famous for, choose from a wide variety of hawker food at the Chinatown Complex Food Centre, the East Coast Lagoon Food Village, the Golden Mile Food Centre or Gluttons Bay. (Be sure to ask a member of my team for other recommendations – they have lots!)
After a busy day, if you just need to stretch your legs and clear your mind, opposite the hotel is Emerald Hill, a stretch of lively bars and restaurants.
