Singapore, February 15, 2017 – Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore is proud to announce the launch of Lounge@Jen’s very own range of local cocktails! Emphasizing on the need to always bring native rituals to the hotel property itself, the team came up with ‘inJenious’ concoctions that infused local favourites into these cocktails, featuring all-time-favourites: Goreng Pisang, Ice Kacang, Kaya Toast and Milo Dinosaur.

Makan@Jen Update 

Let’s Makan Buffet Promotion – Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore will be showcasing Singapore’s favourite food in one buffet this February to June! Let’s Makan promotion boasts enticing highlights such as Salted Egg Tiger Prawn, Chili Crab Dip with deep-fried Mantou, Salted Fish Fried Rice and Homemade Chicken Satay with the regular buffet menu that offers a resplendent spread of Seafood on Ice, Meat Carvery and an assortment of Sushi and Sashimi. Not forgetting central to the dinner will be Head Chef Lee Hoong Wan’s signature dish, Laksa Fried Rice. 

 

‘Live’ cooking stations along the buffet line of Makan@Jen will include:

1.Ngoh Hiang – a much-loved hawker snack of fried items which originated from the Hokkiens and Teochews. Choose from a wide of selection of ingredients including prawn roll, century egg, youtiao, ngoh hiang, sotong ball, fish cake, chicken roll, Taiwanese pork sausage and deep fried bean curd.

2.Rojak – prepare a traditional fruit and vegetable Malay salad with fresh ingredients including green mango, pineapple, sweet turnip, cucumber, youtiao, taopok and homemade rojak sauce.

3.Lok Lok – locals no longer have to travel to Malaysia to enjoy this popular street food. Encompassing a delectable selection of food skewers, pick and watch the chefs prepare your steamboat on a stick.

Diners will also be delighted be irresistible sweet surrenders from the wide array of desserts including the ever-popular Ah Balling in Red Bean Soup, a variety of Nonya Kueh, 8 flavours of ice cream and even Milo and Kaya Tarts! 

 

Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore’s Let’s Makan Promotion is available for dinner at Makan@Jen, located on Level 10, from 6.30pm to 10.00pm on Mondays to Thursdays and Sundays from 15 February to 29 June 2017. It is priced at SGD42++.
