HOTEL JEN SHENYANG ACHIEVES ONLINE MARKETING SUCCESS

Traders Hotel, Shenyang rebranded to Hotel Jen Shenyang on 28th March 2015 becoming the first property in northeast of China to adopt the new Hotel Jen brand by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Ltd. After rebranding, Hotel Jen Shenyang achieved many positive comments and reviews among social websites, hotel guests and both online and offline markets with precisely catering to the trend.

Along with launching three online social media channels after rebranding: Facebook, Weibo and WeChat, Hotel Jen Shenyang shared every exciting moment and every new look with fans via the three channels and established a good foundation in social media. What’s more, a series of PR events such as the Rebranding Ceremony, Bubble Run Activity and Hot-air Balloon Event also increased our online followers and successfully attained more than 400,000 fans on Weibo. To date, Hotel Jen Shenyang gained a stable fan base, including 49,329 followers on Weibo and the WeChat and Facebook’s followers are also increasing.

On the annual list for the 2015 China Travel Awards issued by Travel + Leisure magazine, Hotel Jen Shenyang was also honoured with the Online Voted 2015 Best Hotel Award.  This award is voted online by travellers to reward the hotels which were highly appreciated and recognised for their outstanding accomplishments in online marketing.

Through the hotel’s great efforts on its online channels, it ranked high on online travel agent websites among the citywide hotels and came out first on TripAdvisor, winning two awards, Excellence Award and Hall of Fame Award during the first year of rebranding.
