Hotel Jen Penang will welcome the arrival of Ramadhan with an array of Iftar offerings during the holy month.
Bring your family and friends along to The Islander and indulge in a sumptuous feast as the hotel’s professional culinary team prepares the Ramadhan buffet offering a plentiful array of traditional kampung and Middle Eastern cuisine. 
At sunset, guests can enjoy the berbuka puasa traditions at The Islander featuring over 50 specialties, including bubur lambuk, oxtail soup with barley, kofta fingers (Lebanese minced lamb fingers), firinda kofte (baked Turkish meat balls), nasi bukhari and botok-botok ikan.
Several kampung-style action counters will be set up and offer roasted lamb leg, mee goreng and assorted Malay-styled pastries.
Apart from the customary range of luscious dates, a selection of free-flowing juices and must-have Ramadhan beverages will be served throughout the dinner, including teh tarik, honey kurma and rose syrup.
For the sweet tooth, indulge and delight in a widespread selection of cakes, strudels, truffles, pies, bread and butter pudding and, importantly, the local’s favourite – bubur cha cha.
The Islander offers 25 percent discount for early bird vouchers purchase, thereafter priced at RM 89nett per adult and RM 44.50nett per child aged 6 to 11 years old. Senior citizens and government employees may enjoy the special price of RM 74nett per adult.
The Ramadhan Buffet Dinner will be served from 6 pm to 9:30 pm, June 18th 2015 till July 16th 2015. Advanced reservations are recommended.
