Welcome to Puteri Harbour! Here are a few of my favourite spots, to get you started:

If you're travelling with kids (or if you're a child at heart) then a stop at Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park is an absolute must. It has the first-ever Sanrio Hello Kitty Town outside of Japan, plus other much-loved characters including Barney, Thomas the Tank Engine, Angelina Ballerina, Pingu and Bob the Builder. There are rides, a maze, a parade and show, a dress-up station, jewellery making, cookie decorating and more -- and the best part it that it's all indoors over four levels, so you can visit whatever the weather.

Close by is Legoland Malaysia, which boasts more than 40 interactive rides and indoor and outdoor activities, including a lego train, boats to pedal, roller coasters -- oh, and a water park next door, which also happens to be the largest Legoland Water Park in the world. Slides, wave pools, build your own raft rides and more make it a great day out for both older and younger kids.

Here's one just for Mum and Dad though. The Horizon Hill Golf and Country Club offers an exclusive 18-hole course designed by a renowed Australian golf architect to international standards. The club's facilities are five-star, including a gym, tennis courts, an Olympic-sized pool, restaurants and a ballroom.
