There’s now another reason to look forward to the start of the weekend, as early as Thursday night, for a night of mouth-watering dinner buffet at Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour, Johor’s all-day-dining restaurant, Harbour Café. The buffet is dedicated to the mix of local flavours and a twist of modern Asian signature dishes like Chilli Crab Ramen, Rendang Ramen, Lamb Kuzi Johor. There will also be a live Assam Pedas station. The dishes are all cooked before the diners’ very eyes.
What is Harbour Café without a tinge of flavour from the ocean? An array of seafood salads make a colourful assembly at the appetiser station with Potato Salad, Thai-Style Marinated Squid with Mango and Dried Shrimp, Dill-Marinated Japanese Cucumber with Octopus and Peanut-Crusted Tuna Salad, to name a few.
At the Indian station, chicken and lamb are freshly grilled from the tandoor oven and guests may ask for fluffy Cheese Naan to savour with a selection of dips and curries. The Japanese station offers a wide selection of freshly prepared sushi. The chef also creates the refreshing Soba Noodle Maki Roll and Chicken Sate Nigiri or Chicken Sate Maki Roll.
From unique appetisers to signature main course dishes, as well a Hawaiian Poke Bar, to the Korean favourite of Chendol Bingsu, guests cannot miss the home-grown chefs’ interpretation of comfort food, led by Executive Chef Amirrudin Jaafar, also fondly called Chef Amir.
