Manila Ocean Park: One to sea!
Get set to make a splash at Manila’s Ocean Park. Marine wildlife shines at this park, a huge space filled with aquariums, water shows and exhibits. One of my favourite things to do in Manila, I love popping my head up among the penguins at Trails To Antarctica. The only penguin park in the Philippines, this exhibit let’s you get super close to the adorable pack of Humbold penguins. Everyone: say “aw!”
Jellyfish glow brightly from illuminated tanks in The Jellies exhibit, while the sharks and rays encounter was fiendishly exciting – both get a thumbs up from me!
Nearby, walking the giant oceanarium puts you face to face with over 200 different species of South East Asian marine life. I loved the underwater section, which made me feel like I was at the bottom of the ocean, with all those wonderful sea creatures swimming up and around me – I felt quite the little mermaid!
Manila Bay Ocean Park is on my list as one of the fun things to see and do in Manila. Why not put it on your list too?!
Stay and Play: Be sure to schedule in time to watch one of the fun sea lion shows, which happen at 11am, 3pm and 5pm, and then stick around to see the Symphony Evening Show. Water jets shoot from a large fountain, lit up against the night sky. It was a great end to a really special day. I also prepared a special package for families to see this amazing attraction, click here for details!
